Duplicate a score

Is there a way to create a copy of the score? Let’s say I want to take a lead sheet I did and based on it create another arrangement and keep the original. Would that be Save As… command?

Also, doesn’t Dorico save all your work automatically. Quite often I get Save prompt to choose a location.

Thank you for the input!

Can you give more detail on what’s happening?

The desktop (non-iPad) Dorico app is traditional about saving, in that it doesn’t commit changes unless you tell it to (though it does autosave discreetly to give you something to revert to if Dorico crashes, unless you’ve turned that function off).

This is unusual if you’re comparing solely to Apple’s own apps (Pages, Numbers, Final Cut Pro etc.) or have left that option turned on in the Mac versions of Microsoft Office.

It’s usual if you’re comparing to most other third-party and Windows apps.

You can export and then import your Page Template Sets:

You can also transfer all the settings from one project to another via the Library Manager.

Dorico is no different from most other apps in this regard. You could Save As, to create a duplicate copy, or you could duplicate the file in the Finder/Explorer.

You should only get that once for each file.
