I have a folder with many audio tracks and parts in it. I’d like to duplicate the folder AND MAKE NEW FILES so I can edit the files, but leaving the original files as they were, so I can go back to them if I decide I didn’t like the edits I made. Is there a way to do this? Currently if I “duplicate track” the audio parts in the new folder are the same as in the original folder so if I edit one (reverse the audio for example) the original file is also reversed.

I think it’s one of those things where when you do it you get a dialog box with an option of either creating a new file or change the underlying file, and then there’s one of those “Don’t ask me this again” checkboxes or something… but I could be wrong.
