When recording and direct monitoring a track the level is ok but when playing that recorded track back it’s about 8times louder.
I have to keep raising the fader almost all the way up during recording and lower the level of the track about -18db for playback. This is rediculous I have to keep changing level of the track between every record and listening situation.
I thought steinberg interface with steinberg daw would be a smooth solution. But it’s completely the opposite in this case.
Maybe if it was possible to use the sound card dspmixer with cubase it would of been all ok. But since its integrated in cubase mixer for monitoring this issue exists.
