Dynamics Alignment Not Centering in Dorico 6

Hello,

I’m experiencing a strange issue with dynamics in Dorico 6. Even though in Engraving Options I have set “Dynamics Position – Center of Notehead”, the dynamics appear aligned to the “optical center with left-hand side of notehead” rather than truly centered.

Additionally, when I try to adjust the alignment in the Properties panel, changing between Left and Center seems to have no effect — the dynamics position does not change.

Am I doing something wrong, or have I overlooked a setting?

Has anyone encountered this before or could offer advice on how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I’ve fixed it :man_facepalming:

I must have messed up something with Music Symbols earlier.

Solution: I went to the Library > Library Manager and dropped a Dorico project where the alignment was correct. Then I imported Music Symbols collection and now everything works fine.

I’ll leave this thread here in case it helps someone in the future.
