I have set up Dynamics Mapping with the “Send controller” option ticked and set to CC1 Modulation. All is well during playback, but in the Midi Editor, I find that I can’t hear anything when keys are manually pressed on the virtual keyboard.
If a CC1 Modulation controller lane is created and drawn at a suitable volume, AND if the vertical cursor line is overlaying it, then I can hear the notes. Is this the only way to hear notes in the Editor when using Articulations/Dynamics, or am I missing a button somewhere?
Searching for “Dynamics Mapping” in the documentation gives two results - neither of which explains what the options mean on the pop-up menu.
