Hello all… Is there any way to get an early GA-style GUI interface in GA5? GA5 is super complex and flexible and that’s great, but is there any way to make it just do the simple GUI? The complexity is nice for certain occasions, but songwriting-wise what I REALLY want is just this:

While using an Acoustic Agent kit, clicking the Pattern tab will show Complexity controls almost identical to older versions of Groove Agent, and it also includes several improvements:
Groove Agent 5 can be overwhelming if you come from these versions, but it gets easier over time. Check out the Style filters using the browser to the right:
Unfortunately, the rest of the original interface is unlikely to return, because it leaves very little room for expansion. If you have ever used Groove Agent 3, you can tell that the original development team was scrambling for space.
That doesn’t mean that the developers will never try to simplify the interface somehow, but I doubt it will look much like the older versions.
Thanks! That’s a start, at least. I still think they should bundle it with a “Groove Agent Lite” that trades expandability for simplicity; a lot of people would appreciate that.

Never saw that one either. That is defiantly a cool funky idea to have the slider for styles for decades. I think they should implement it.
