I’m sure this problems been addressed many times. I’ve ran Studio 4 on my XP-PC, but when I loaded Studio 4 onto Win 7, I had to buy an external sound card. FOCUSRITE Scarlett 2i. via a USB. On my device setup, it correctly indentify’s the ASIO driver as the Focusrite. But I don’t get any sound on the “recording” track unless I click the Direct Monitor…then I get a echo with a slight delay between hitting notes and hearing them.
I’ve download the Cubase 6 Elements trial, with the same results. So I figure the problem remains the same. I watched every YouTube help fix it video, but nobody seems to address this!
