Editing a "rit" tempo marking

At the end of my piece, I’d like a ritardando. I went to the tempo panel and found “rit.” and clicked it to add it to the measure I had highlighted. That works fine. But I would really like it to say “ritardando al fine” and I don’t know how to do that.

I tried double-clicking on the “rit.” and I typed in my full phrase, but after hitting return, Dorico now shows me “ritardando” (i.e. it took the first word and let me expand it) but not the full phrase.

I tried creating system text (as I just learned) by using opt-cmd-X, and now I can type whatever I want, except it’s not bold (as “ritardando” is) so I can’t figure out how to style it, and also, I assume it won’t be played back this way. (Not a big deal but I’m just trying to understand best practices here.)

Change the properties of the rit in the bottom panel.
Put whatever text you like…
rit

Thank you! I thought I looked there but clearly I missed it.
