Editing an Audi region without also editing track Automation

So I’m trimming the end of a stinger that I’ve got going through a bunch of Modulation plugins and ending with a ramp from 0% top 100% wet through a reverb, and when shortening the region end, the breakpoint automation is also being deleted, leaving abrupt automation that I don’t want. I’d like to edit the region without this happening.

Ideas?

Hi,

There is an “Automation follows events” function, which you can enable and disable right in the Toolbar (next to the Automation Panel button).

Disable it, in your case.
