Editing Audio, Volume Handle preference

Hi there ,I was messing with Cubase 9.5 yesterday and I was editing some audio ,splitting the audio and grabbing the volume handle and adjusting the levels of audio parts ,I forgot how easy it was to do that in 9.5 compared to Cubase 15, the fader and the db numbers on the audio are so annoying and block the view of the audio blobs in 15 ,in 9.5 it was split and adjust the blob to the correct size ,simple .is there a preference what will give that older view . thanks .

Hi,

No, there is not this kind of preference.

Ok thanks ,for the reply .

Ah ,I just discovered, event volume curves in 15 , lol ,doh!

Many users including myself didn’t particularly like the change, as a result Steinberg also added a modifier key on the object selection tool. I believe it is Ctrl + Shift + Mouse drag up or down by default. You can double check the tool modifiers in the preferences.

Thank you :+1:I actually watched Dom’s video demonstration for Cubase 14 on this subject, what you were talking about was included in the video I think ,I’m away for the weekend will check it more when I’m back .thanks
