Editing FR: Sequoia 3-point/4-point editing, Source Destination Editing + Reaper Ripple

Always wished this came to Cubendo,

great for field-recording editing, game asset compilation,

It allows you to comp source material without having to chop down the source, or locate to the destination. You can stay focused on the source material.

I think it would be fantastic, if this would tie into the Regions system that most people don’t use. It would give more reason to using Regions.

ie, as someone create regions using the range tool, those regions are appearing on a destination track and location.

I’d also like to see an addition/improvement to how it worked in Sequoia where you have an option/command to send source edit to “Destination New Track”, and “Destination New Lane”… Giving users 3 destination options they can freely choose in the moment via command to compile sound layers across multiple tracks or work inline on one track.

Might as well add REAPER ripple editing as well. Yes there is Shuffle in Cubase, and there are a bunch of global editing commands that can emulate - but it’s not as a fluid as in REAPER:

You’ve got my vote. I invoke the great @uarte:raising_hands:

P.S. this should be on every Nuendo user’s feature request list too.

Haha! You sure know my hot button feature request! Great post, and 100% yes, Cubendo needs this!

1,000,000 X :+1:

(And add Linux support, but you know I would sneak in a comment on that too! :innocent: )
