Editing Piano pedal markings for playback within Caesuras

The new Caesura feature shortens the payback of the note to achieve the gap.
However, in a piano part, if you are using pedal markings with a pedal release at the end of the note, the pedal overrides the gap.
Is it possible to edit where the pedal releases in order to match the shortened note length? Can you edit the pedal positioning in the play back editor, the same way that you can edit playback of notes? I have also tried moving the pedal release on the score but it appears to only snap to notes.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Try using SHIFT + ALT/OPT + Left Arrow to shorten the Pedal extension by a short grid value to see if that works.

Unfortunately, I do not think it does.

At the moment, Dorico doesn’t consider piano pedals when it’s playing holds and pauses, and there’s no good way to influence the automatic playback of pedal lines; all you can do is override the CC64 controller in the Key Editor at the affected spot. I’ve made a note of this and we’ll look into it when we get a chance.

Thank you Daniel, that has fixed my problem. (and thank you for the quick reply on New Years Day)
I noticed that the CC64 lane appeared empty until I inserted my first override. After adding an override, a grey line appeared showing all the CC64 data from the Pedal markings. Is this the expected behaviour?

Thanks Derek. Daniel has provided a good solution for me.

I would expect the grey line to be shown there all the time rather than only once you add some overridden data, but the main thing is that you’re able to get the result you need.
