Editing Player Labels to Fit the Score

Hello,

I wanted to see if anyone can tell or direct me to where I can edit the Player Label indentation so the label can fit more neatly on the paper, compared to what I have now

Thank you

Here?

Setup > Players > Edit instrument names

I tried that, from your suggestions, and it still looks the same

I am more referring to editing the Player group labels, instead of just the instrument names. Leaning more on formatting the percussion labels, which have multiple instruments

I honestly wouldn’t have all the instruments for percussion listed like that next to each system. I would just specify what instruments each percussion player holds on the preface page, and then rename those players simply accordingly (perc 1, 2, 3, 4); and then show instrument change labels so it’s clear what instrument is being used at any given time.

Sorta like this:

And under Layout Options > Players there’s an option to show player names instead of instrument names (so you could name it whatever you want).

If you do wish to contain all the instruments on multiple lines, there is a trick where you write each line in a plain text document, with the line breaks formatted how you want them - then copy/paste that into the rename player dialogue box and it will force the line breaks in the staff labels.

My suggestion was to avoid long names and eventually use multiple rows…

Thank you for that! This helped out a lot
