I know how to edit and comp overdubs via the lane method since this involves a single track with multiply overubs, but am stumped regarding this - I have recorded one track (we’ll call this audio 1) and then on a separate track (we’ll call this audio 2) I have recorded (as an example) a two beat overdub. My question is, how to I edit the 2 beat part in audio 1 so I can replace it with the 2 beat overdub part in audio 2 so that the overdub from audio 2 is edited into audio 1 track??
Drag the part (audio 2) up into audio 1 using Ctrl drag and then edit as in lanes.
