Hi,
I’ve been using a Logickeyboard Astra 2 on my windows PC over the past couple of years and have really enjoyed having a dedicated Cubase keyboard that’s backlit.
However, mine developed a fault a months ago and have had to swap to my old generic keyboard whilst trying to get the keyboard fixed. Logickeyboard sent me some replacement keys to see if this would fix the issue but unfortunately this wasn’t successful?
My only option is to send the keyboard back to Logickeyboard which I believe is in Denmark to get it fixed and pay for the repair. I am waiting to find out the cost of sending the keyboard and repair charge.
If the charge is very expensive or the keyboard needs to be replaced with a new one out of warranty I could be facing having to buy a new keyboard. This leads me to the question of whether I should change to something different considering this keyboard failed in such a short time?
I like the look of the Logickeyboard Titan as it can be connected via either Bluetooth or USB cable. Alternatively I could try a different brand like Editor Keys. Their new backlit and wireless keyboard for Cubase looks really good. I’m not sure if this can be connected via USB cable though?
What would you recommend?
