EDITORHOST_GTK not working

Hi…

I’m trying to understand how VST3 hosting working in the context of GTK.

If I enable EDITORHOST_GTK in the editorhost sample code, then everything builds, but plugin UI’s do not work.

For some plugins I just get an empty window. For the noteexpressionsynth demo, I get the screenshot attached and it is not interactive.

Has anyone got this working?

Yes, GTK is broken and last time I checked they won’t fix their XEMBED implementation (Gtk::Socket).
