I was wondering if it would be possible to have some sort of a discount to upgrade between Dorico Element (that have bought through the education discount) to Dorico Pro. I unfortunately notice that there’s no educational discount on those upgrade. I’m on my last year at university and I’m in no position to buy the full price for the upgrade without this discount that, from what I’ve understood, used to exist.

Hey, I’m in the same situation, got Elements with the edu discount and now looking to move to Pro, but the upgrade pricing is tough without a student option. Would also appreciate if Steinberg could clarify if the educational upgrade path is still available or planned to return.
It looks like there is not an educational upgrade path from Elements to Pro. However, you can use your educational discount to buy Pro directly – that would be $360 instead of the upgrade price of $480.

Indeed I’ve seen this possibility, but that’s why I was asking on this forum. 360$, even if it’s already way easier to afford than 480$, is still quite a huge amount to spend when your a student with few or no income at all.
And unfortunately it’s still just a bit above my budget at the moment. So I’ve figured that I would try to ask here, since my student year will end up soon. Because after that I’ll have to pay even a bigger price and I won’t be able too at all.
