I have a bunch of backing vocal tracks in a folder with group editing activated.
Am i right in thinking that I can’t audio warp one of the tracks and have all the others do the same warp? Thats a bit nuts isn’t it? I thought this was the whole point of group editing…
I’m afraid its not possible to use warping on multiple tracks the way you describe. This is a feature I would love to see added.
For now there is a workaround if you want to warp 6 or less tracks together.
Create a 5.1 surround buss in the outputs section of the vst connections. (F4)
Route the tracks that you want to edit each to a different 5.1 buss. Eg front L, front M etc.
Solo and export those tracks as a 5.1 surround mix. Export to the projects audio folder and tick import to audio track beforehand. You should now have one wave file containing 6 separate waves inside it.
Warp away if fact all sample editor features will work!
Once happy with the edits export/import the wave again but this time click the split file option.
hope this helps some
Hi Kev, thanks for the tip - that sounds like a reasonable workaround. I’m really surprised you can’t mulit-track warp tho! Annoying…
