Those of you whose software is running on Steinberg Licensing are already enjoying the benefits that this new system offers, such as a simplified license activation, as well as allowing a single user license to run on up to three computers without the physical USB-eLicenser dongle.

Don’t say bullshit, no one like to be connected to internet just for using a software!

My computer isn’t connected to internet and i don’t want to!
so you will get my licences back because i can’t use it anymore?
or be kind and produce me a new licences for my new dongle because the older one one has failed!

You don’t need to be online to use the software. Please read the docs on the Steinberg website.

So what , if you need to channe the current computer you will have to go online again.
The dongle is just a remove insert.

Plus i don’t want to connect any second to internet, just don’t want to install the network drivers and don’t want the network card to be enabled!

Then disable it after you’re finished. It’s trivial. Or not, and don’t run it. Your choice.

yeah for sure, i use cubase 7.5 and nothing else, and i can assure that you will make me another dongle licences if i need it!

I wonder: no updates to the os, music software? new software content only on floppy or punchcard? I am not sorry, but that is nonsense.

I am very happy that the dongle is history. More trouble than it was worth.
