eLicenser Control software for Mac OS X 10.7

Hello,

I would like to install a Cubase 5 Educational version. I have all the documents including the usb elicenser and activation code.
I installed the eLicenser Control Center 6.8.1.14153, which is the latest compatible version for Mac OS X 10.7.

I have the following problem:
After I entered the whole activation code, the eLicenser has identified the Cubase successfully. But after I started License Download, I get an error message that the eLicenser Control software is too old.

But I can’t install a newer version of eLicenser Control software, because it’s the latest version (6.8.1.14153) which is compatible with Mac OS X 10.7.

I’m totally broke now :frowning:

Could somebody help?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

I would try to update the eLienser License Database from the Support menu.

Can you still get Mac OS X 10.7 to connect to the web or did you need to bring all the software across on external media?

Is it possible to activate your code to an elicenser key using another computer (not so old) and after that, just run Cubase on the older machine?
