I had the issue where my c10.5 not only didn’t update to 11 but elicenser also removed the 10.5 license. I spoke to Steinberg support. After already going through adding the activation code in Download Assistance, She had me follow these steps.
1.Open elicenser and click the “actions” menu and then click “recover”. It didn’t recover my 10.5 license. However, it did add C 11 but with an exclamation point saying “transfer pending”.
2. Performed the elicenser maintenance. Even though 2 of the 6 failed, it still activated the c11 license.
I am now up and running opening up old sessions and making sure everything is working. Hope this helps
