Trying to embed EQ into an audio file via direct offline processing.
Limiter, normalise, gain etc all working fine - but adding EQ doesn’t work right.
When I add any of the EQ plugins I can’t audition what I am doing while adjusting parameters: nothing happens. I seem to have to guess what I want to adjust then apply it to see if it sounds right.
Maybe I should be rendering/bouncing with EQ in track view?
Bit confused about how to save audio stem with fx embedded…
Be glad of any advice.
I just checked using the stock Frequency plugin and it seemed to work.
If you have a problem on your end though a workaround for now is to instantiate the plugin in an insert, tweak the settings until they are good, and then just drag-and-drop it into the DOP window. Then after it’s applied you can take the plugin out of the insert.
I’m on Nuendo latest version. You should make it a habit of either letting people know what version you are using or just putting the specs in your sig…
Thanks MattiasNYC - I will try that, or maybe just export/import the clip how I want it.
(Cubase Pro 13 windows 10)
Drop and drag didn’t want to work but I copied the state of the plugin and that did - anyway better than export import which seems clumsy. Also render did not copy the audio file accurately: not sure why, maybe me.
Anyway I got the file sounding how I want it -
Thanks again
