My puter died, needs new mother, Question, I keep my data files on Windows 2000 server, it is able to install software as a workstation within itself, (Terminal Server) it meets specifications as far as ram and hdd speed to run Cubase 5 will it work?

XP sp2 is the oldest OS Cubase 5 will install on. You could install Cubase 4 on it though, and use the Cubase 5 license. They allow you to use older versions with the newer license. Locating version 4 may be an issue though…
Also, youd have to import your tracks because Cubase 4 wont open Cubase 5 projects. Hope this helps.
