Empty space before my first bar

Hi!

I encountered something weird, or maybe I just pressed something by accident and I dont know how to reverse it. In the image you can see some empty space right before my first bar.

It doesn’t really affect my project, the only thing is that my ruler track, that can be seen there, started the first second right at the beginning of that empty space and I was able to make it start at bar 1 by deleting that ruler track and creating a new one.

My question is, what is that empty space, and how do It fix it? I dont see any use for it and I dont want to have it. Again, maybe I pressed something by accident and I dont know what could that have been.

That is unusual indeed.
Can you add a ruler to show samples and post that screenshot?

Is compass a regular expression for bar or measure? English is not my native language, that’s why I ask.

No, it isn’t. I suspect it’s an artifact of translation.

Yeah, I meant measure, or bar. In spanish is the direct translation for “compass”, that was the word I was thinking about when I posted this.

Sorry about the delay.

There’s no need now. Apparently this was just a bug for that one moment.

I moved the divider line that is in between the tracks and the project area and that fixed the issue, that empty space disappeared and everything went back to normal.

This didn’t harm my project at all but it was very weird to encounter it, to say the least. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again.
