I’m working through the Dorico first steps, and everything has been working great till I got to the end of the “writing music” section. Here, I am told to activate an “End of line” option in the repeat endings group. I cannot find such an option. What do I need to do to show that option?
Ah, this property has (I believe) moved to Engrave mode - I’ll check and get this corrected. Apologies! And thanks again for reporting issues you’ve found, as many times as I’ve checked and double-checked that guide, there’s always a chance of missing something.
Right, that actually seems more logical. I’ve found it in Engrave mode now. Thanks!
It might be worth adding, too, that you have to select the 2nd part of the repeat in engrave mode. At first, I had selected the repeat in Write mode (which selects the whole thing), then switched to Engrave mode with it still selected. Although the options were different this way, it still didn’t show the End of Line option, which nearly kept me from finding it at all. I chanced to deselect everything, then reselect the second half, and then the option appeared.
I’ve been amazed at the lack of errors in this guide. It is quite obvious that someone is tediously paying attention to details!
