I think I asked that long ago, but I can’t find it back.
And I hope that this bug is fixed in Dorico 4.0
I’m still working with 3.5
I removed instruments in my Kontakt player and added new ones.
Result:
I closed Dorico, restarted - the same mess…
I REMOVED vibraphone, crotales and harp…they are still showing up…I added percussion: nothing there…
I really hope the Midi-Section improved in Dorico 4.0 !!
The Assigned Instruments column that you’re looking at shows which Dorico Instrument is assigned to each channel in this Endpoint Setup.
It’s nothing to do with what you actually have loaded in your Kontakt instance. You could have a distorted guitar loaded into Channel 1 and, in this case, your Vibraphone instrument will sound like a distorted guitar. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
For example, if you go to your Harp instrument in Play Mode and change it’s channel from 3 to 4 in the Track Inspector, you should see this same image but with Harp in Channel 4 instead.
