Is that a functional touch sensitive key top and is it a part of its’ abilities already?

Do you mean the Keyboard panel? If so, velocity will be captured according to the vertical position at which you touch the key during real-time recording, but not during step-time input. There’s no way to input CC data except via the Key Editor.
