I love the idea of an Envelope Shaper build it with the Channel strip , but when ever I have tried to use it almost alway get clicking added to the signal .
this happen while I try to remove a little attack on a Piano or add attack for Percussion .
is anyone able to use this ???
What version are you using? I don’t get this on Cubase 12. Win 11

Im gonna do sound audio examples . A ,B with a 3rd party Env shaper , maybe simpler
This is a simple Piano note repeated one clean one other wit Env Shaper set to -20db to try and give the piano a softer attack , you will hear a click as the start of every note. not sure if there’s a better way to share audio clips , but links below
I would really like to use the C13 built in , I love Channel Strip
finally if you use a Long Release with Env Shaper its unusable
OK after all that , I just tried the Plug-in Version and that is work as expected, no clicks .
I think I’m gonna report this as a bug this cannot be right
Can I ask if you’re using the plug-in version, or the built-in Channel strip version?
Plug in version. I don’t use the channel strip. I’m not able to check at the moment though
I can confirm that the Envelope Shaper in the Channel Strip causes clicks whereas the plugin version does not.

No, Cubase Pro 12. I do have 11 and 10.5 installed still.

I only tested and confirmed on version 12.
