eq a send (in the box ) ??

just watched a Pensados place . with mick Guzauski…
he was talking about his daft punk album … and the single “get lucky”
… mentioned putting a 5k shelf and a 100hrz cut on a plate … on the send …
after thinking about this … and how cool it is … i thought … how can we do this in the box …
is :
duplicating track , eq and pre the send of the track . rout to an fx
the way around this ???
how would you do it … but stay in the box …??

maybe he meant EQing the “Fx track” channel (the send return)? to remove a mud from reverb for example…

Think you’re over complicating it. EQing an FX send is as simple as… EQing an FX send. Just go to the FX track you’re sending to and either use the channel EQ (which will EQ the return signal of your reverb) or insert an EQ plugin before your reverb plugin (which will mean you’re EQing the send signal going into the reverb).

more or less what i thought
