An option, please: an erase tool that works like any graphics program: what ever you swipe across (click-drag) is erased. Currently, cu 8.05, the erase tool selects when click-drag. We have a select tool for that. So each group erase has to be two precise operations: get just the events you want in a box, and then click exactly on one of the selected events. Click inside the box but miss an event? No, you lose the selection and have to start over.
