Error GUI Padshop and Groove Agent 5

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing this problem with my Cubase PRO 14. It only happens with Padshop and Groove Agent 5; the plugin interfaces keep flickering.

Cubase is on the latest version (I reinstalled both Cubase and Padshop).

PC specs:

RTX 4060 TI (Updated driver) and I’ve already restored it to default settings
1 TB SSD
i7 10700F

This wasn’t happening some time ago, but I don’t remember when it started.

Also, I recorded this video with my phone and the problem is visible, but when I tried recording with OBS, the recording was normal. So I suspect it might be the monitor or the graphics card.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Please try this:

  • Download the latest Studio driver version from here. If there is no Studio driver for your graphic card, use the one, which is available and continue with the same steps below.
  • Disconnect the computer from the Internet to ensure Windows will not download and install its graphic driver.
  • Uninstall the NVIDIA driver.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Start the NVIDIA driver installation (as administrator).
  • Don’t install the whole package, use the Custom (Advanced) settings.
  • Disable everything (don’t install NVIDIA Experience, PhysX, etc.), and keep the video driver enabled.
  • Connect your computer to the internet.

Do you have multiple screens? Does it happen on all screens?

Do you have the latest plug-in versions installed?

It would be interesting to know what happened in the meantime. Maybe a (silent) Windows update, the plug-ins update, Cubase update, …?
