Error: medium type not supported

HI all - does anyone know why this shows up when i try to drag a .mp3 file (or .wav file) from my finder onto cubase?

Macbook M1 Max, C14 Pro

Hi,

It could me a permission issue. Make sure, Cubase has permission to access the given folder.

Hi,

  1. Manually Grant Access via System Settings

If an application needs access to protected folders, you can manually allow it:

  1. Go to System Settings (on macOS Ventura and later) or System Preferences (on older versions).

  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security.

  3. Scroll down to Files and Folders.

  4. Find the application in the list.

  5. Toggle access for Downloads, Desktop, Documents, or other necessary locations…
