Every time I open up Cubase Elements 12 I am greeted with an error message: "The application was terminated with an errorwhile executing the following file: Freeze?
I Save then Close Project and finally Quit?
Any ideas?

I’m having the same thing. Cubase 12 Pro. 11 worked fine.

There is a more detailed thread on this for Cubase Pro 12 at Cubase Pro 12 This application was terminated with an error on each shutdown?. No solutions or workarounds at this point, despite various theories that some of us have had on the matter. I’m having this pretty much every time I start Cubase Pro 12 at this point, though my actual sessions are (usually) without incident and (most of the time) Cubase does not visibly hang on exiting.
