Any ideas why this would occur? Only one computer. The other one updated fine. Tried re-installing the download assistant.
Make sure you’ve quit all other Steinberg apps and other VST hosts?
This happens normally here, if I inadvertently press NO instead of allowing the installation. Sometimes also if I choose Download instead of Install. The material is always correctly downloaded, anyway…
Same thing happened to me on both Windows and Mac with the latest update.

The issue isn’t the download (at least not above nor for me) rather, after downloading, SDA fails to instantiate the upgrade. There is some disconnect between download completion and update instantiation–perhaps a timeout expires and SDA aborts the remaining step(s).
