I"m trying to set up RC for Cubase 14. i’ve read that the Avid Control app is very good (and free) for CUbase, but am having difficulty finding the Eucon driver on Avid’s site. Does someone know which actual Eucon product i’m supposed to download?
I think the driver is included in the Cubase installation. If you don’t see it installed you can probably just re-run the installer and select only that component.
Sign up for the Avid Control app, and when you do, it will ask you to create an Avid account through your email.
Once you have finished the setup process for the Avid Control app, then the Eucon Workstation software will be available in your Avid account. Once you download it from there, install it on your Cubase computer. Then run EuControl and make sure your iPad or whatnot is on the same network as your Cubase computer and it should show right up. Then you can pair them (you’ll see how to do it).
thanks for the info. unfortunately as you will see from my pic i don’t have the same details in my account as yers are showing. i have been able to search for eucon workstation, running now at version 3 plus increments, but only can see a pdf download, no software.
thanks for info.
i am …as i’ve read from many …bothered by the pop up at start up of cubase ‘‘no valid eucon software can be found on the system’’. the only option i have is download assistant, but there’s nothing about eucon there either. that said. how did you go about getting this solved?
Is it Pro?
I just installed Nuendo and I don’t recall doing anything else.
Like Steve posted earlier under “my products” I have “avid control and eucontrol” with download links. He did write “Sign up for the Avid Control app” so if you did I guess something is ‘wrong’ maybe? Try logging out/in of Avid’s website perhaps?
I’m guessing you’re trying to install the iOS or Android version, right? Did you go through that and install it already?

thanks…yeah it seems my avid account page just isn’t doing what it was on ‘steve’s page’…i’ve not been at it again today, but will head back into trying to get it all happening later. gotta say…do appreesh both you guys getting back to me…will let you know what transpires later
Yeah when you download the app, it asks you to fill out your name and email address, and that is what tells it which account to add the Eucon software for download. It sounds like when you downloaded the Avid Control app, it asked for your email address but it must not have gone through, or you might have accidentally skipped it.
