I was just about to upgrade from W11.2 to W12 for £85.00 using the usual upgrade path, but with the 40th Anniversary offer the cost went down to £42.50 - Lovely. Thank you Steinberg.
Thanks for making me look !
I was going to upgrade from WL 11.2 Pro to WL12 Pro and the price showed $217.20 CAD with the loyalty discount, which seemed high to me so I just checked the upgrade price from WL11.2 Pro to WL12 Pro and the price for that is only $72.50 CAD which seems like a better offer.
Very confusing to me.
I’ve just had the same confusion.
I looked at the price to upgrade from Elements 11.2 to Pro 12 - which is at £169.50 GBP. Tried to apply the voucher and it didn’t work. However, If I try to buy Pro 12 outright, the voucher works and knocks the prices down to £127.20 - which is cheaper than actually upgrading.
Surely, this isn’t right?
So I have to buy a new license instead of upgrading the existing if I want to use the 70% voucher even if I already own the Element 11.2 version?
Yes, that’s right. Updates and upgrades are 50% off at the moment. I’d just compare the prices and choose the cheaper one. If you buy a new license, you can sell the old WL Elements one or just leave it in your account.
