Hats off to the Dorico team on the 4.3 release… I’m a hobbyist drummer outside my software product management day job (nothing related to music), and all around software geek. I’ve been studying chord theory for the last few months, and tinkering with various tools to ‘program in’ chords (Toontrack EZ Keys, iOS ‘Suggester’, and a number of others). I’ve always wanted to write/compose, but never had the tools or took the time to do so. I just installed Dorico 4.3, input a few chord symbols, converted to notes, connected my Shreddage3 Stratus VST, and… wow!
