Explanation of the 'Modes'

Cant seem to find any info on this anywhere. So can anyone explain how the different ‘Modes’ work in the driver software? I have ‘Standard’, ‘Low latency’ and ‘Stable’.

Is this for the Steinberg USB driver? I haven’t seen those settings before – only buffer size and input and output latency readings.

I did a search though and it’s talked about here and they describe accessing advanced settings by pressing Ctrl+Shift+A:
