Is there any way to export MIDI for just a selection, not the whole flow? I’d like to be able to send just a new section to the composer.
If not, would the best way be to just copy the section into a new flow and export that?
I would think: Duplicate the flow, cut it down to the desired passage, export. Delete the flow afterward if not needed.

This is onerous for me. I want to have this part of a keyboard maestro workflow where the exported midi selection is sent to my system clipboard that I can then paste into an Ableton clip. Sibelius can do this, albeitly convolutedly with “export selection as score,” followed “export instruments as midi,” then a bash script.
However, in Dorico I can’t map “export Midi…” to a keycomand that keyboard maestro can trigger.
