I have Cubase Pro 12.0.70 Build 464 on an Intel-chipped 2019 MacBook Pro running MacOS Ventura 13.7.
I am experiencing this problem no matter what folder I select. And the dropdown clearly sees the available folders TO select. No folder I’ve tried is working for me when I attempt to export audio mixdown. Yet I can still save the project file from which I’m attempting to export.
This is the first time in a while I’ve been getting back into working on multitrack audio projects, and this Cubase was installed before I upgraded to Ventura. However, I updated my Steinberg Download Assistant just now and reinstalled Cubase, no change. I went into MacOS System Settings and manually added Cubase 12 as an application with full disk access, no change.
This is a rather massive issue, so I’d appreciate whatever help I can get. Thanks in advance.
Do you have Titanium Software’s Onyx?
It’s freeware, doesn’t hurt anything, and has helped me out of any number of situations similar to this.
Good luck!

I saw Onyx mentioned in the thread about this same bug for Nuendo [/t/export-selected-folder-doesnt-exist/847258], installed it yesterday and ran the default maintenance tasks which rebooted the machine: no change.
The next step I’d take is to rebuild your prefs, meaning take them out of your library and let Nuendo rebuild them from scratch.
This likely isn’t a bug, per se, or we’d be seeing reports like this from lots of folks. Since what you’re going through isn’t something that happens to most people, so ditching prefs from a previous OS version would be the next logical troubleshooting step, in my experience. I mean, that’s what I would do!
Sorry you’re having this issue-- I do remember it happening for me on Nuendo a few years (and OS versions) ago.

Hi, the reason for me getting the error was that there was a location in the queue that doesn’t exist and seems to be left over from a previous session. I.e. it wasn’t the location I was putting in that was the issue but one that was already there. This might not be the right answer for you but clearing the queue worked for me. Cheers
