Export/import of midi data to Studio One

I purchased the Ravel piano plugin for my DAW (Studio One v.7). I exported the Midi data from Dorico v6 and pasted it into Studio One. Everything was sounding good until it reached a spot toward the end where the time was not in sync with the vocals. Did some midi data not get transferred or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks - Patrick

Were the vocals also in the same MIDI import?

If the Dorico file had fermatas or rit/rallentando markings, then the tempo might vary.

Does the Ravel piano plug-in not work in Dorico?

you know it does!

Yes. the export includes all voices. I plugin them in and go back and delete the ones that I donot want. There were not any tempo changes. I hoped it would work in Dorico, but the tech that helped with the install said that plugins will not work-only libraries.

I don’t know how competent the tech is, but if we’re talking about the UA Ravel piano, I can assure you it works flawlessly in Dorico, as does any VST3 plug-in… I’m installing a demo now to show you the pictures

Here you are :

That’s what I get for listening the the tech at Sweetwater. This is great news! Thank you!!
