Export Video Datei

Hallo

Kaum Audio Dateien dazu gemacht … Auch mal nur Video Datei ohne Audio Datei Export gemacht ebenfalls sehr groß …140 Mb
Einstellungen kann man unter Cubase nicht vornehmen … Oder doch ?

Tom

It’s because the video export is set to output only 1920x1080 at 30 Mb/s.

But you can always re-compress after it’s done or if you didn’t edit the video you can export only the audio and Replace Audio In Video using the original video you have.

Both things can be done easily with ER Media ToolKit, you can google search it.

Good luck;)

I can only assume that the 8 MB video is very compressed and uses long GOP algorithm too.
The way Steinberg produces videos is without any GOP (each video frame stands by its own) that’s the best approach to achieve flawless playback within DAWs. That by itself blows the file size, add to that the massive bitrate (30 Mb pre second) and FHD 1920x1080, then you end up with a very big output file.
The Development team do say they are working hard to add more compressed versions and some other necessary options, but it tools like it takes time.
That being said, as someone who do that about 30 times each day, I really don’t see any need to use the video export feature unless you edit the video on your project timeline. It is always faster to export only the audio and then replace audio in the original video.
