So I have a 6 minute song recorded via midi keyboard, it exports to a WAV file just fine, but then the WAV file doesn’t play any sound? It even says it’s a 92MB file which means there is something there, but no sound plays? Any ideas?
Sure the locators aren’t backwards? What’s the output of the MID track set to? What’s the output of the Export window set to?
Locators are fine. Output of mid track is Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth. Output of export window is Stereo Out.
Now it says I get a “Disk overload error!” when exporting?
The MS Wavetable isn’t for use in Cubase, it’s for Windows to play MIDI files. You don’t say which specific version you run which would be a factor in my next answer.
MOX8 VST is the output. I can export HalionOne sounds and get them to play, but the sounds on my MOX won’t play.
I Googled and it appears there are specific instructions to get it to work.
