Does anyone have any suggestions on how to export audio from nuendo with markers embedded in the wav output?
I’ve searched the forum and the manual and all i can find are references for exporting markers in CSV, etc…
This is for interactive music work where the markers are needed for sync and marking lead ins/tails.
Not possible I’m afraid. I have never heard of a DAW that can do that. Sounds very specific.
That’s possible in the reaper program.
There is no standardized parameter for this in (BWF) wav files. If Reaper can do that, then it uses a container that is also used for texts or notes, for example.
You should have an example and then take a look to the tags and check in which container this data must appear and in what form.
Probably the iXML container. But there is also Riff, BWF, AXML, ID3v1 / ID3v … and others.
Then you would have to enter this information into the containers yourself. WaveLab can do this very well.
Nuendo is completely unsuitable for handling / importing / exporting this metadata.
