Exporting files with embedded loop markers

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions regarding the export of files which contain loop points or markers.
When I create specific sample packs, I´m always offering the files with and without the loop markers which makes the overall file size huge.
Is it recommended to export them separately? I mean, do the loop markers affect the sound when not used for seamless processing in a sampler or similar software?

And my second question is, do the loop points /markers get deleted after a batch process to a lower sample rate?

Do you mean that embedding markers make the file huge? No, this is not the case at all.

Not at all

No.

No by default, but there is a batch processor option to let you copy or not the markers.

Concerning the marker format, there are 3 of them.
The 1st one is the original format, but very old. Often more or less supported.
The 2nd one is more modern but not supported by all other applications.
The last one is WaveLab specific and should normally not be used when sharing files.

Thank you Philippe for your kind and fast reply, much appreciated!

No, I meant with the file size that I´m always exporting double the amount of files, with and without the markers, which makes my packs huge. But if I don´t have to do that, just great!
