Expression Map bug - articulations can't be reassigned anymore after copying to another track

I’m running into a problem, where you can’t reassign certain articulations anymore after copying a MIDI event to another track. Instead of replacing the existing articulation they will just ‘pile up’ on each other, see the following picture:

I’ve attached a small example project, where you should be able to reproduce this:

  • In the project, copy over the “CSB Trumpets” MIDI event to the “BBR Trumpets” track.
  • Open the MIDI event on BBR Trumpets and select a note which has the “Transition” articulation assigned to it.
  • Assign another articulation to the note. As you should see, the “Transition” articulation won’t be replaced, but instead the new articulation will be added on top of it.

Hope this can be fixed soon. In the meantime, a good workaround for this would be if you could just delete all articulations from notes, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to do this? Otherwise I’m just forced to delete and redraw all the notes, which is incredibly tedious.

EDIT: apparently you can just select the articulations in the articulation lane and press delete and it will NOT also delete the notes, so this helps a lot for now.

Many thanks for the easy to follow report with sample project, and apologies for the inconvience. I can reproduce the problem, we will investigate further.
