I had posted about using external effects and subsequently found that the only way i could get a return signal was through an analog return.

The device i am using is a digital device, utilizing AES. I am not able to use my AES input as a return for my external effect. i can send to the device via AES.

I’m hoping someone can tell me if there is a way to achieve using a digital input for my external effects return.

What’s your audio interface? It’s most likely an issue with that or with it’s driver…

FWIW, my device has ONLY AES inputs and it works. I think more info about your interface/routing etc. would be needed to help more.

I did get it working. I’m not sure how.
