External instruments midi channel

Is there anyway to store a midi channel when you created an external instrument. I only ever get channel 1

I am trying to set up multi channels on a single midi oi port ?

Only way I can save different midi channels is save track presets

Hi,

Add an External Instrument > Instrument track. Then add a MIDI Track, with the output routed to the (External) Instrument track.
