** External Laptop Mic over-rides Cubase **

I recently switched my Cubase AI4 (Audiogram 3) from my desktop to a more powerful laptop to avoid a few glitches that would sometimes occur.

All Cubase and EZDrummer loaded succesfully, but now when I come to record, the laptop seems to ignore the fact that the Audiogram is plugged in via USB and only pick up sound via the built in mic on the laptop. I am NOT a techno-phile so have little knowledge of what the problem is, but would truly appreciate any guidance in eliminating the issue.

Make sure you’re using the Audiogram driver in the Cubase “Device Setup/VST Audio System/ASIO driver”
