external .*WAV files for groove agent or cubase VST's libraries

hello, can i sample random .*wav files and use them in cubase inside groove agent for example,
in which folder should i put them to work in that way,
do developers protect their libraries or restrict them in any way; for example akai mpc, etc
thank you

You can create a folder in My Music in your computer and use media bay to access those samples then drag
them in cubase’s project window for editing.

Then select up to 16 samples and drag them on the first groove agent pad, lowest drop icon to assign them consecutively to 16 pads.

Once loaded you can be save as a kit and groove agent will remember their location on your drive.

thank you
